stale frying oil difficult toilet
The pervasive smell of stale frying oil throughout the hotel was very unpleasant. It discouraged me from eating there or even being downstairs. I could detect it within my room too.. The toilet was positioned so close to the shower and opposite wall that it was difficult to use comfortably.

Excellent Stay with a Balcony!

great staff great entertainment parking space
The staff was great. Ian was an excellent host! The entertainment was a great addition to our evenings. I prebooked a parking space for £10 a day, very important.
It was noisy throughout the evening because of people walking in the corridors. I could hear conversations through the walls from the adjacent room. Our room smelled like school dinners for the rest of the night when dinner service was on.
Rooms
9/10
Our room included a fan, very useful. The sea view from the balcony was fine. It provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation after a busy day. The room itself was clean and spacious and had all the needed facilities.
Facilities
8/10
The breakfast offered a good selection. It was included with our stay. The three-course dinner was available for an additional £17.50 each. The hotel has a Costa Coffee on site.
